Chemical Burn Victim
The Merion Fire Company along with Narberth Ambulance was dispatched to the Lower Merion High School for a report of a acid burn victim. One male subject was transported with chemical burns after a spill that occured in one of the classrooms on the third floor. Montgomery County Haz Mat Deputy Chief was contacted and filled in about the event. Medics were also called to evaluate the school nurse. Companies were available in about an hour. |

Fallen Firefighters Fundraiser
Ardmore Firefighters participated in a fund raiser for the National Fire Academy Fallen Firefighters Memorial that was sponsored by Baskin and Robbins
Ice cream. 100's of children and family members stopped by to support this great event. |

Fire Drill
Firefighters from the Merion Fire Company assisted with a fire drill for the seniors at Ardmore Crossing Apartments. The residences were very receptive and a Fire Prevention program was presented in the community room. |

Railroad Brush Fire
The Merion Fire Company was called to a brush fire on the railroad just west of the Wynnewood train station on the eastbound side. Firefighters worked for about 20 minutes to extinguish the deep seated fire. |
