Ardmore firefighters handled a small brush fire at the Haverford Train Station south side in the early afternoon.

Ardmore firefighters removed 3 people from a stuck elevator at the Hampshire Condominiums in Haverford on Friday evening.
4-26-12 Bryn Mawr Hospital Fire
Bryn Mawr College Fire
The Merion Fire Company was called to Bryn Mawr Hospital to assist with a small fire in the ceiling of a bathroom on the 4th floor shortly before noon. A second call came in for a report of a building fire at Bryn Mawr College. When our units cleared from the hospital they responded to assist at the college. Companies were in service for over an hour.
4-25-12 Rescue in Suburban Square
Ardmore firefighters along with Rescue 21 and Rescue 22 responded to the Suburban Square Parking lot at Glenn & Montgomery shortly after 5 PM today to remove a victim from a car that ran up on some poles at the exit of the parking lot.
Firefighters stabilized the car and removed the gentleman to safety. He was not injured.
4-22-12 Macy's Electrical fire
Ardmore and Bryn Mawr firefighters were called to the Macy's Department Store in Suburban Square on Sunday morning for smoke in the building. An electrical fire was quickly handled in a display case on the first floor. Firefighters were back in service in 20 minutes.
4-19-12 Small Brush Fire
Ardmore firefighters handled a small brush fire along the tracks in the rear of 233 East Lancaster Ave Thursday afternoon.
4-17-12 Mulch Fire
The second call of the day was at 233 East Lancaster Ave for a mulch fire. The crew from Engine 25 quickly handled the smoldering fire.
4-13-12 Brush Fire
Ardmore firefighters handed a brush fire in the 100 block of Simpson Road shortly before 5PM.
4-5-12 Haverford House Fire
Ardmore firefighters along with station 24 & Ladder 26 were called to 330 Laurel Lane in Haverford this morning for a working house fire. Additional upgrades were called from Bryn Mawr, Narberth, and Fast team from Penn Wynne along with 313 rehab unit.
All companies went to work with an aggressive attack and stopped a fire in the walls and attic. At the first 20 minute mark the fire was controlled.
4-4-12 Radnor Township Mansion Fire
On Wednesday April 4th, at approximately 2:40 p.m. the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore was dispatched to respond to assist the Bryn Mawr Fire Company at a structure fire in a very large mansion on Ithan Avenue in Radnor Township, Delaware County.
Engine 25 and Engine 25-1 responded immediately, as they were out covering a second call for Bryn Mawr. Once on location crews from Ardmore established a 5” water supply to Ladder 23 and Quint 15 and then proceeded to begin interior fire attack. After a partial building collapse crews transitioned to an exterior attack with mobile deck guns, blitz fire guns and two ladder pipes. Utility-25 responded to the scene twice with fresh crews. Crews returned to the interior of the home at about 5:00 p.m. to begin the process of extinguishing numerous large hot spots on the third and fourth floors.
Crews worked at the scene until approximately 9:30 p.m.
